耵聍，读音：dīng níng，俗称耳屎，是由外耳道耵聍腺分泌出的淡黄色粘稠液体遇空气干燥后形成的，有的遇空气干燥后呈薄片状，有的如粘稠的油脂。平时“藏”在外耳道内，具有保护外耳道皮肤和粘附外来物质（如灰尘、小飞虫等）的作用。 正常情况下耵聍可借咀嚼、张口等下颌运动以薄片形式自行排出。若耵聍逐渐凝聚成团，阻塞外耳道，称耵聍栓塞（impacted cerumen），俗称：铁耳屎。
